A reporter at the British Mail on Sunday has been told to "f*** off" after asking a politician how much she weighed.
Liz Kendall, who's in the running to become the new Labour leader, called Simon Walter's line of inquiry "unbelievable", and questioned if he would have asked a man the same.
In the much-criticised article, Walters wrote "In fact she looks the same weight as the Duchess – about 8st – though when I ask she slaps me down with a raucous ‘f*** off!’, adding quickly: ‘Don’t print that.’"
The article also says that Ms Kendall maintains her "lithe figure" by jogging 20 miles a week.
Reacting to the piece, Liz Kendall said she "cannot wait for a world when women are judged the same as men".
"Can you imagine the Mail on Sunday asking the weight of the prime minister, George Osborne or any other leading politician?", she added.
