A new report claims to show how expensive it is to live near your train stop.

Property firm Daft says it's calculated the cost of a 3-bed semi in Dublin according to proximity to rail services.

Sandymount is the most expensive location on the DART line, with an average asking price of 727-thousand euro.

Ranelagh is the most-sought after address on the LUAS Green Line with a 650-thousand price tag, while the red line's Spencer Dock development is the highest at over half a million.

The study looked at nearly 10-thousand properties that came on the market between September 2014 and last September.
