Rents Rose Along Green Luas Long Before Extension Opened

Rents are continuing to rise for homes close to DART stations and Luas stops.

Dubliners are spending 17% more to live close to a rail line.

A new Daft.ie survey shows prices rose by 3% in the first three months of 2018.

The most expensive place to rent is near the Sandymount DART stop at a cost of €2,282 a month.

The cheapest place to rent along a rail route is at Cheeverstown coming in at €1,056 a month.

Before the Green Line extension to Broombridge even opened, rents in the area were already 21% higher than in the rest of the city.
