Parents can register their under sixes for the free GP care scheme from today.
Almost 300 thousand children will become eligible for free doctor visits from the first of July.
Just under 60 percent of GPs have signed up so far.
Minister for Primary Care Kathleen Lynch is confident more will follow suit:
