Nurses, teachers, Gardaí and other public servants could see the beginning of a return of some of their pay cuts next year.
The Public Expenditure Minister's confirmed he wants to have talks next year on the reversal of cuts to pay and pensions imposed during the financial crisis.
Under the Croke Park and Haddington Road pay agreements emergency legislation was introduced to temporarily impose the cuts.
