President Michael D Higgins Warns Of Dangers Of Social Media

President Higgins has warned of the dangers of abuse of social media and says people need to 'give care' in the way it is used.

Michael D. Higgins has announced 50 all-island events to discuss ethics in public life and public discourse.

The events will look at the issue of ethics in business, law, planning, cyber-ethics and other areas.

The President says bullying on social media is an indications of the abuse of technology that should be used for public benefit.
