A Dublin man has appeared in court charged with harassing RTÉ newsreader Sharon Ní Bheoláin.
Conor O’Hora of Heather Walk in Portmarnock was arrested this morning and granted bail on condition he doesn’t contact anyone involved in the case. The 40-year-old is also charged with possessing images of child pornography.
The alleged offences are said to have taken place on various dates between October 20th 2013 and February 14th 2014.
Conor O’Hora hasn’t indicated how he's going to plea but the DPP will seek a jury trial before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court unless there’s a signed plea of guilty, in which case he’ll be dealt with before the lower district court.
Sharon Ní Bheolain wasn’t in court this afternoon and the case was adjourned until December.
