One of Dublin city's best-known restaurants is to close for several weeks after a fire at the premises yesterday.
No one was injured in the blaze at San Lorenzo's on George's Street.
But the popular brunch spot is expected to be shut for six to eight weeks following smoke damage.
Due to a fire earlier today in @SanLorenzos , the restaurant will be closed for more than likely 6 - 8 weeks. No one was injured but will take some time to reopen with the smoke damage. All bookings will be contacted over the next few days. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The area was evacuated yesterday and the road closed off for a time as emergency services dealt with the fire.
