The first Papal visit to Dublin in nearly forty years will be held this year.
It's been confirmed Pope Francis will attend the World Meeting of Families in Croke Park in August.
A mass will also be celebrated in the Phoenix Park during the two days the Pontiff's in the city.
The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar says he's looking forward to meeting him.
