A new EU project aims to reduce waiting times for air passengers by an hour.
The scheme aims to use a combination of improvements to reduce travel time, including a smartphone app that gives you real-time information about your journey.
The project is being trialled at Hamburg Airport in Germany and Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands and will include faster luggage drop off and collection systems, and forecasting the length of queues.
Orlaith McCarthy is working on the scheme and says there are a number of ways they plan to shorten journey times.
