Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40’s was stabbed in the city centre.
Part of his ear was discovered close by to the scene at flats off Whitefriar Street between Golden Lane and Aungier Street.
It’s understood he was found with stab wounds in the hallway of his flat just before ten this morning – he is in hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Detectives have sealed off the area and say their investigation is ongoing.
