Parents Urged To Avoid Non-Essential Children's Hospital Visits

Children's hospitals in the city are appealing to people to stay away from their emergency departments unless absolutely necessary.

The units in Temple Street and Crumlin have been extremely busy this week - despite the ransonware attack.

All elective inpatient and day cases are cancelled at these hospitals for the rest of the week - along with outpatient clinics.

Routine outpatient appointments are also cancelled in Connolly children's hospital until Friday.

Sharon Ryan, the head of operations in Temple Street, says the cyber attack continues to have a big impact. ..
