The covid-19 pandemic has led to the prices of some illegal drugs increasing across Europe.

A new Europol report says travel restrictions have had a disruptive impact on the drug market which has led to shortages of drugs such as cannabis herb and resin.

Cocaine is still being shipped into the continent at levels seen before the crisis, while there has been a dramatic fall in airline trafficking.

Europol is warning that criminals are adapting transportation models with the potential for social media drug distribution to gain more traction.
