Irish movie Brookyln has been shortlisted for Best Picture at the 2016 Academy Awards.
Saoirse Ronan is nominated as Best Actress for her role in the movie, while Michael Fassbender has been shortlised for Best Actor for playing Steve Jobs.
Room, which started life as a book written by Dublin-born author Emma Donoghue, is up for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Lenny Abrahmson, who was born in Dublin in 1966, is up for Best Diector for Room.

The Revenant leads the way, with 12 nominations including one for Leonardo DiCaprio who is tipped to take home his first ever Oscar for Best Actor.
