Solicitor Brian O'Donnell says he'll be staying with friends and relatives over the coming days after receivers took possession of the Killiney mansion.
Mr O'Donnell and his wife Mary Patricia, who owe Bank of Ireland over 70 million euro, left Gorse Hill earlier ahead of the expiration of a court-ordered deadline.
Brian O'Donnell went from the house straight to Bank of Ireland's AGM where he presented CEO Richie Boucher with the keys.
Mr O'Donnell also spoke to reporters outside the meeting.
Meanwhile, the New Land League says the locks have been changed and the Gorse Hill property has been secured.
