A nurse has been found guilty of professional misconduct after he used co-workers names to order Sudafed from a hospital pharmacy.
John Benedict De Lara was accused of placing the orders at the Royal Hospital in Donnybrook in May 2013.
He faced six allegations before a tribunal of inquiry at the Nursing and Midwifery Board.
Three of them related to ordering Sudafed from the pharmacy at the Royal Hospital in Donnybrook in other staff members names without their permission in 2013.
Two allegations related to the possession of Crystal Meth in 2014 while the final allegation was the failure to inform his employer that he was the subject of a Garda investigation.
After three days of hearings, Mr. De Lara was found guilty of professional misconduct on all six counts.
The Nursing and Midwifery Board didn’t say what sanctions will be taken against Mr. De Lara, they’ll be decided at a later date.
