Gardai say they have yet to work why a window cleaner was murdered in Ballymun last year.
Forty eight year old John O'Regan was shot dead as he cycled to work on Gateway Avenue at 8:30 on the morning of April 15th, 2014.
The gunman who was wearing a high-vis jacket, fled the scene on a bicycle towards Collins Avenue.
There was very heavy traffic at the time and a number of witnesses saw the offender as he was making his escape.
Gardai say they want to speak to anyone who has information in relation to the murder.
Superintendent Finbar Murphy of Ballymun Garda Station says John O'Regan was not involved in crime and it's not clear why he was killed..
