A jury in the trial of a man accused of stabbing another man to death in Mulhuddart has been told there's no evidence that he intended to kill him.
Andrew Gibney of Drumheath Avenue, Mulhuddart admits stabbing Gerard Burnett three times on August 21st 2012 but denies murdering him.
The victim, a 28-year-old father of one, was dragged from his girlfriend's house and stabbed around 30 times by a gang of five men.
