There has been a dramatic rise in the number of people caught begging in the city.
Gardai have released their crime stats for 2015 and the stand out figure is begging which increased a massive 415%.
The figures also show an increase in assaults and public order offences.
Gardai say this is down to high visibility patrols.
Elsewhere assaults have risen by 12% and public order offences have gone up by 13%.
One area where crime is actually down is burglaries - they decreased 16% when compared with last year and drug offences also went down
Meanwhile the numbers of murders halved in the city last year.
13 people were murdered in 2014 compared with 6 last year.
