Two men have been arrested following a robbery and assault at a shop in the city.
It happened in the Shantalla Road are at around 9.40pm yesterday.
The two men - one aged in his late teens and another in his 20s - entered the premises, and the older man is reported to have assaulted a member of staff.
A man aged in his 30s received head injuries.
Both men left the scene with a stolen bottle of wine.
Members from the Garda Public Order Unit out on patrol carried out a search of the area, and arrested the men a short time later.
They were taken to Ballymun Garda station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The male youth remains in custody - while the man in his 20s has been charged in relation to the incident.
