A man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries following an alleged assault in West Dublin this afternoon.
Gardai responded to reports of a serious assault in Kilcronan View in Clondalkin at half 12.
A man in his 20s is being treated in Tallaght Hospital.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí responded to reports of a serious assault that had occurred at a residence in Kilcronan View, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 at approximately 12:30pm this afternoon, Friday 9th May 2025.
"One male (20s) was brought to Tallaght University Hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
"Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information relating to this incident to please come forward.
"Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area this morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station Garda Station on (01) 666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
"This investigation is ongoing."
