The number of people seeking advice and information this year because they are homeless or at serious risk of losing their home has increased drastically.
Homeless charity Focus Ireland has said there's been a rise of over 43% in the number of people coming to them for advice.
So far this year 3,588 people have contacted them, compared to 2,500 people over the same period last year.
Focus Ireland says this significant rise is a reflection of the reality that more people are now at risk of losing their family home.
