Gardai have seized over 800,000 euro worth of cannabis during two searches in Tallaght and Blanchardstown in Dublin yesterday.
Gardai from the Burglary Response Unit were out on patrol in Tallaght when they saw a suspicious looking van - they stopped and searched it and found 180,000 euro worth of cannabis.
A man was arrested and he was taken to Tallaght Garda Station.
Officers from the BRU, assisted by the Tallaght and Blanchardstown drug units carried out a follow up search at a premises in Blanchardstown.
They found 640,000 euro worth of cannabis.
Investigations are ongoing.
