A man will appear in court in Waterford in over an hours time charged in connection with a fatal stabbing on Friday night.
55 year old Maria O' Brien died after she was attacked at around 7pm at St Otterans psychiatric hospital, where she was a patient.
The 36 year old man charged, was also a patient at the facility will appear before a special sitting of Waterford District Court at 7:30pm.
