A man has been arrested following a stabbing in the west of the city overnight.
A man in his 30s was found with a number of stab wounds at Littlepace Road in Dublin 15 at about 2-45 am - and treated at the scene by emergency crews.
He was then taken to Connolly Hospital where he is now understood to be in a stable condition.
In follow up searches, a 32-year-old man was arrested at Latchford Park a short time later.
He's being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
