A 32 year old man is in hospital after he was shot by a lone gunman at Belcamp Grove, Priorswood in Coolock yesterday afternoon.
The shooter, a man on a bicycle, approached the victim as he was leaving his house and shot him in his front garden.
The gunman is believed to have been wearing a hooded top and to have come from the direction of the Link road.
The victim was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his injuries are being described as non life threatening.
The gunman remains at large and Gardai are asking anyone with information to contact them.
