A man's been detained overnight on foot of a European arrest warrant, after he was arrested on the M1 motorway yesterday.
He was one of ten people arrested by Gardai at a checkpoint near the Balbriggan exit of the M1, as part of Operation Thor.
The operation is targeting criminals using the motorway network, as well as the sale of stolen goods at markets.
