Gardai are appealing for information about a suspicious death in the city centre.
It's after the body of a man was discovered at an apartment in Dublin 8.
John Stewart was found dead last Thursday at his home near Clanbrassil Street.
Forensic teams examined the scene and a post mortem was carried out at the city morgue the following day.
Now gardai are appealing for information about the 54 year old's last known movements, between Tuesday the 1st of December and Wednesday the 2nd.
John is described as 5 foot 10, of average build and may have been spending time in the city centre.
When last seen he was wearing a grey padded jacket with a zip, light coloured jeans and a grey woolly hat.
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with officers at Kevin Street, or any Garda station.
