A man is due back in court this morning, following a failed robbery in Stoneybatter.
It's after a raider was confronted by an off duty Garda at a convenience store on Oxmanstown Road earlier this week.
39 year old Patrick Brazil with an address at Prussia Street, Dublin 7 was later charged in court with robbery.
He has been remanded in custody, and his case is due back before the courts at 10.30am.
