A man in his 20s has died following a crash in Co Meath last night.
The single-vehicle collision happened on the L5068 near Knockcommon, Slane at 10.30 pm.
The man, who was by himself in the car, was treated for injuries at the scene but was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem is due to take place today and the road remains closed this morning to allow for a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward and any road users with video footage, including dash cam, is asked to make this available to them.
