A man in his late teens has been charged in connection with a series of robberies at south Dublin train stations this month.
He was arrested on Tuesday and taken to taken to Blackrock Garda Station.
The man was later charged in connection with the thefts and appeared before Dún Laoghaire District Court yesterday morning.
The incidents being investigated include;
• Five robberies from persons at Shankill Dart Station on 15th January 2022• Two robberies from persons at Sandycove Dart Station on 11th January 2022• One attempted robbery from a person at Seapoint Dart Station on 8th January 2022
The man was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Cloverhill District Court tomorrow morning at 10.30am.
