A man will appear in court today, charged after a serious assault in Stoneybatter over the weekend.
The alleged stabbing incident happened at around 11:30pm on Saturday on Aughrim Street.
A man in his 20s was allegedly stabbed in the hand and was brought to the Mater Hospital by ambulance.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident and was detained at a Dublin Garda Station.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
