A 43 year old man has been charged with the murder of Jason Doogue at a special sitting of Naas District Court.
The man from Athy in Co. Kildare was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Wednesday.
22 year old Doogue was shot a number of times last Friday in the Greenhills area of Athy and later died from his injuries.
Since the attack Gardai have arrested a number of people - of the arrests, three people, two men and one woman remain in Garda custody.
