Gardaí have seized two guns and arrested a man in Donaghmede.
It was part of operations targeting serious organised crime in the city.
A 44-year-old man is in custody following the discoveries over the past two days.
The operations were carried out by the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Officers intercepted vehicles which led to the search of a premises in Donaghmede and two guns and ammunition were found at around 1 o'clock this afternoon.
The man arrested is being held on Offences against the State.
He is being detained at Coolock Garda Station and can be kept for up to 72 hours.
