Gardai are questioning a man about a fatal stabbing in Tallaght in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A 32 year old man died after he was stabbed at a house on Deerpark Avenue. He's been named locally as Graham McKeever.
The dad of one was found unconscious outside the house by emergency services at around 4.40am. It's understood he'd sustained a number of knife wounds.
His body was taken to the City Morgue in Whitehall where a post mortem was carried out and special detectives conducted a technical examination of the crime scene.
A suspect in his early 40's was arrested yesterday evening in connection with the attack. Gardai can hold him for questioning for up to 24 hours.
However, officers are continuing to appeal for information.
In particular, they are asking witnesses to come forward who may have been in the Deerpark Avenue area, or may have heard a disturbance, between 4am and 5.30am Saturday morning.
