A man's been arrested following a high speed chase in the city last night.
This incident began shortly after 8pm last night when a van failed to stop at a checkpoint in Ronanstown.
The vehicle drove towards town at high speed and its understood a number of units gave chase.
A garda sustained minor injuries in the attempt to stop the car - however he's since been discharged from hospital.
The vehicle was eventually stopped close to St Patrick's Cathedral.
Gardai arrested a 22 year old man in connection with the incident - and he's being held at Clondalkin Garda Station
