A man has been arrested at the Dublin Horse Show after Gardai spotted a child strapped into his van with ropes.
By law, it’s the driver’s responsibility to ensure children under the age of 17 are wearing seat belts or strapped safely into an appropriate baby seat.
Gardai say the man in question will be prosecuted and could be hit with two penalty points and a fine of up to €2,000.
