Almost 20 people have been arrested in connection with drugs offences in Blanchardstown.
In a major blitz over the past 48 hours 35 people have been arrested in an operation aimed at tackling the networks that supply controlled drugs in Blanchardstown, Cavan and Portlaoise.
The operation began six months ago and focused on the drug trafficking of heroin.
In total 54 people are in court today, ranging in age from 15 to 49 years, are being prosecuted for drug trafficking offences
In Dublin 'Operation Rhea' was conducted in Blanchardstown and a further 19 offenders are being brought before Blanchardstown District Court this morning at 10.30am.
