Households in north County Dublin will not face further water shortages tonight.
A full water supply will be maintained to the Skerries area following an improvement in reservoir levels, according to Irish Water.
However the utility is asking residents to continue conserving water for the foreseeable future.
They have also refused to rule out further disruption in the near future.
The company says the current dry weather is restricting the supply of treated drinking water.
