Lidl says it had intended to build a new larger store on Fortunestown Lane but now it's taking another look at those plans.
It's after the supermarket was destroyed on Friday.
In a statement, Lidl says it has engineers and consultants on site assessing the damage caused to the building.
"We can confirm that it had been our intention to build a new larger store on Fortunestown Lane. Given the events of Friday last, that decision is now under review. We currently have engineers and consultants on site assessing the significant damage caused to the building and we will await their recommendations before making a final decision regarding future plans."
Yesterday management confirmed they're redeploying the Fortunestown Lane staff to other branches following the looting damage.
