Judges have ruled that all Europeans will now have the right to tell Google to hide embarrassing details about their past from its internet searches.
A decision by the Luxembourg based European Court of Justice means that anyone who wants to supress information about their life will be able to block all references to it.
However, its thought criminals could wipe the internet slate clean, making it easier for them to convince potential employers they are trustworthy.
