A young Irishman has died in Spain.
It's believed he drowned in a swimming pool at a resort on the Costa del Sol.
This tragedy is understood to have happened at a holiday apartment complex in Torremolinos.
Its reported that he had arrived at the apartments hours earlier with friends and family.
The Department of Foreign Affairs had confirmed that its providing consular assistance to the family of the man.
