The funeral of an Athlone couple shot dead in a terror attack on a Tunisian beach will take place this morning.
Hundreds of people are expected to gather at the Church of Saint Peter and Paul in the town to say goodbye to the couple this morning.
The funeral will take place at 11 at the Church of S.S. Peter & Paul's, followed by burial at Coosan Cemetery.
Father Liam Devine, who will preside over the funeral services, says the support from people in the town has been overwhelming.
