The Labour Relations Commission has invited all sides in the Irish Rail dispute to exploratory talks.
They will take place tomorrow to see if there's a basis for a resolution.
The dispute centres around Irish Rail's decision to implement pay cuts as part of a cost cutting package, without the workers agreement.
