Ireland's Eurovision entrant believes his song has "a really good chance" of qualifying for the final of the competition.
It's been 5 years since an Irish contestant last progressed past the semi-final stage.
Dubliner Ryan O'Shaughnessy looks to break that run with his song 'Together'.
Ryan performs in the first of the semi-finals tonight and is confident he'll do the country proud.
"We have a really good chance, we're giving a real honest song. With the staging that goes with it, I feel we have a really good chance".
"What we really need is for Ireland to get behind it, that energy is really important" he said.
