The Irish accent has come third in a poll of the world's sexiest accents.
The British accent came first in the list of hot english speakers, followed by American, Irish third and the Australian lilt came fourth.
Time Out magazine's Global Dating survey also found that English has overtaken french as the sexiest language overall.
And the city with the best dating scene is Paris, followed by Melbourne.
