Eighty three women were identified by Ruhama as victims of sex trafficking in Ireland last year.
The organisation which supports women affected by prostitution, says in the last 12 months it has seen a 17 per cent increase in women who have been trafficked to this country.
Last year the group assisted 305 vulnerable women and says demand for its service is increasing.
