The Health Minister Leo Varadkar and the HSE will discuss measures to deal with any threat from Ebola today.
They will look at ways to ensure the health system is ready to deal with any outbreak if it happens.
It comes as the US President is warning that monitoring of ebola must be "much more aggressive".
