Crack cocaine believed to be worth €85,000 has been seized in Ballyfermot.
Guns and ammunition were also found when officers searched a house in Cherry Orchard this morning.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested, and is being held at Clondalkin Garda Station for questioning.
The discovery was made during two searches as part of an on going operation carried out in the Ballyfermot area.
Gardaí from Ballyfermot's Detective Unit and officers from the Armed Support Unit were both involved.
