Doctors are warning that free care for under-6s will have a detrimental effect on the sector.
Tomorrow sees the start of the registration process for parents to sign their children up to the scheme, which is due to come into effect on the 1st of July.
As of Friday, just over 14 hundred GPs have signed up to the scheme - representing a 58 percent sign up rate.
